Platform lifts #casters
Aerial work platforms, Aluminum scaffolding, work platforms and platform lift #casters all of these access platforms have one thing in common, they all use wheels. I’m using the term platform lift to cover all work platforms / access platforms that people use to access their overhead needs. All these platform lifts use casters or a wheel of some type to move them. The problem is people are so busy working overhead they neglect to see what is going on with their tires or casters.

You hear this all the time but it is true. If you take five minutes and check your equipment especially your wheels and remove any foreign objects at that time you will have a castor that rolls. This castor was in a pile of scaffolding equipment that the customer was throwing out. I removed the string from the platform lift #castor and the customer now has a platform lift that rolls again. I also save the customer around $50 for a new platform lifts #castor.
